Borderlands Xbox 360 offers many great features, including gunplay, many choices of weapons and rewards, but the best thing about Borderlands is the ability to choose from four different and fun characters.

The storyline of Borderlands Xbox 360 is about the hostile planet of Pandora. Pandora draws plenty of off world attention for one reason only. The Vault. The vault is reputed to be a stronghold of treasures, power and wealth. Corporations, individuals and bandits journey to Pandora to unlock the secrets of the vault.

Whichever player you choose will be an individual who is determined to get inside the Vault. While the goal is a good motivator to keep you on your way, the real fun in Borderlands is the fun you will have on your way. Whether you play alone or in multiplayer mode, the bloody combat, rewarding loot and experience system will keep you entertained.

Along the way players will gather loot, fight bosses and complete small quests to level up. Leveling up and accumulating skill points earn you different character improvements based upon which character you choose to play.

Each character has a unique look and attitude, as well as an action skill. The four characters and action skills that players have to choose from are:

* The Hunter who controls a vicious bird of prey.
* The Soldier who throws down an automatic shielded turret.
* The Siren who can turn invisible and unbelievably fast.
* The Berserker who flies into an impenetrable rage and delivers brutal punches to enemies.

Loot is a consistent reward throughout the game, loot is found in containers, dropped by enemies or given to your as a reward. Loot consists of money, ammo, shields, mods, and guns. The variety of guns in Borderlands Xbox 360 is a first person shooter gamer's fantasy. Pistols, submachine guns, shotguns, combat rifles, rocket launcher, and sniper rifles, there is no shortage of firepower for blasting your enemies as you head toward the Vault.

When it comes to enemies, there is also no shortage of them either. On your way to the Vault on Pandora you will encounter human bandits, pyromaniac psychos, toothy doglike beasts, spider ants, death bats, and wriggling prehistoric grubs. Your character will have to defend against hundreds of each type of enemy throughout the game.

Players can spend hour after hours fulfilling quests and leveling up before ever getting near the Vault. Badlands is a challenge as you meet all the quest requirements you come across, defeat the baddies and journey through the magnificently styled planet of Pandora. While the Vault is the ultimate goal it may seem to be a bit of a letdown to actually arrive at the end of your journey.

Gamers who love first person shooters, lots of gunplay, combat and challenges should download Borderlands Xbox 360, choose a character and take a trip to Pandora. You won't be sorry. The uncontrolled violence and fun as well as the interaction between characters, creatures and the benefit of collecting loot and rewards makes Borderlands an excellent way to spend several hours on another planet.
