I knew the best place for me to look would be on the Internet. To my dismay, the Internet explained that the yellow light on ps3 meant the general hardware failed. This only meant that the problem could lie anywhere in the console. It could be a bad fan, power supply or anything else.

There were a few gamers who put videos on how to repair the YLOD on the PS3 on YouTube. The video instructions were so confusing, especially to a beginner like myself. Irritated, I keep searching the Internet for a handbook to give me a better understanding on how to follow the instructions easy enough to comprehend.

I succeeded in my searching. There was something I found so helpful for the PS3 YLOD repair. Mr. Rob Sheffield created an instructional on how to fix the PS3 lights. I was able to revamp the yellow light on PS3 in under three hours. I could play the game right away now, instead of waiting for Sony to get it, repair it and return it.

You have nothing to worry about anymore when the yellow light shows up on your PS3. You have to have a way out. Either call Sony or just do the Repair YLOD yourself. There will be no time wasted as you wait to play regardless of how you choose to fix it.
